Gambling Turnover in Latvia Up 11.7% in 2018
RIGA, Feb 27 (LETA) - In 2018, Latvian gambling operator's revenue grew 11.7 percent against 2017 to EUR 277.701 million, according to the Lotteries and Gambling Supervisory Inspection of Latvia.
Slot machines netted EUR 216.923 million, up 8.6 percent on 2017.
Online gambling revenue was the second largest source of revenue, generating EUR 41.155 million at a 45.5 percent increase from 2017.
Revenue from gambling tables (roulette, card games) dropped 7.1 percent year-on-year to EUR 16.649 million, and betting revenue rose 15.5 percent to EUR 2.759 million. Bingo halls generated EUR...
