RIGA, Aug 2 (LETA) - From August 3 to 8, Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics is due to make an official visit to the Commonwealth of Australia and, from August 9 to 12, to New Zealand.
ustralia and New Zealand are like-minded countries to Latvia in the Pacific region and close partners in NATO, the Foreign Ministry informed LETA.
During his visit in Australia, Rinkevics will open an Embassy of Latvia in Canberra, the first resident Latvian embassy in the Pacific.
