Food producers face unprecedented hike of supply prices - Dobeles Dzirnavnieks

RIGA, May 11 (LETA) - Food producers are facing an unprecedented hike of supply prices, Dobeles Dzirnavnieks grain mill's board chairman Kristaps Amsils said in an interview with LETA.

He said that grain prices currently are on a historically highest point that will also be reflected on product prices in stores.

"Since last year's harvest, we are facing a constant rise in grain prices. Russia's war in Ukraine has added fuel to the fire. Since late February, we are facing an unprecedented price growth.
