First average speed radars could start operating on Latvian roads in November

RIGA, July 22 (LETA) - The first average speed radars could start operating on Latvian roads, Talivaldis Vectirans, director of the Road Infrastructure Department of the Ministry of Transport (MoT), told the Road Safety Council on Friday.

Vectirans indicated that this project could be completed in March next year. In total, 16 radar locations are planned.
