Finnish conductor Peltkoski picked for next artistic director of Latvian National Symphony Orchestra

RIGA, May 12 (LETA) - Tarmo Peltokoski, a 22-year-old Finnish talent, has been picked to become the next chief conductor and artistic director of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO) starting the 2022/2023 concert season, LNSO representative Anna Babre informed LETA.

She said that in June 2021 Peltokoski earned acclaim with his debut in Germany with the Bremen German Chamber Philharmonic.
