EUR 100,000 collected in fundraiser campaign for dismantling Soviet-era monument in Pardaugava

RIGA, May 12 (LETA) - Already EUR 100,000 have been collected in a fundraising campaign for dismantling the Soviet-era monument in Pardaugava, Riga.

The number of people submitting donations has already exceeded 6,100 by Thursday afternoon.

Ziedot.lv charity platform representative Ilze Osane said that the recent events in Riga have demonstrated that Latvia's society will not tolerate aggression, provocations and instigation of hatred.
