Estonia: ERR's supervisory board approves management board composition for next 5 yrs

The supervisory board of Estonia's public broadcaster ERR at a meeting on Tuesday approved the composition of ERR's management board for the next five years.

At the proposal of chairman of ERR's management board Erik Roose, the supervisory board named Tiina Kaalep, Toomas Luhats, Mart Luik and Joel Sarv as management board members.

"The public broadcaster and its management board have a busy period ahead of them with implementing the mission of ERR. Issues needing a resolution include budgetary matters as well as ensuring the continuity of operations. In addition, it is also important to keep in mind our task to provide the world's most reliable Estonian-language journalistic content with the highest quality and largest impact," Roose said. "The outgoing management has done great work and brought the public broadcaster' readership and viewer figures to a record high level, and for that I want to sincerely applaud all of them!"
