Latvia confirms 164 new Covid-19 cases, seven deaths

Another 164 people in Latvia tested positive for Covid-19 and seven persons died of the coronavirus disease in the past 24 hours, the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) informed LETA.

Of the 3,269 Covid-19 tests carried out on Tuesday, 5 percent returned positive.

Of the new Covid-19 cases recorded in the past 24 hours, 55 people were unvaccinated or had not completed their vaccination course and 109 people were fully vaccinated.

Latvia's cumulative two-week number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population dropped from 170.7 to 157.
