In 2021 volume of green public procurement grows by EUR 289 million - ministry

In 2021, the volume of the green public procurement has increased by EUR 289 million, LETA learned from the Environment Protection and Regional Development Ministry.

In financial terms, the green public procurements in Latvia last year reached EUR 1.1 billion, excluding value added tax. The share of green public procurement in overall public procurement in 2021 reached 28.4 percent, down from 29.1 percent in 2020.
