RIGA, July 27 (LETA) - The Defense Ministry plans to set up a shortwave radio broadcast system, which is expected to cost EUR 19.4 million.

The Defense Ministry has drafted a government decree that would allow the ministry to set up the Broadcast and Ship to Shore/Beyond Line of Site (BRASS/BLOS) shortwave radio system, using the NATO Communications and Information Agency as the project's purchase and implementation agent.
