Current MPs lead Harmony party's ticket in upcoming Saeima elections

RIGA, July 18 (LETA) - A number of current Saeima members and municipal councilors will be leading the opposition Harmony party's ticket in Latvia's upcoming parliamentary elections.

Veteran MP Janis Urbanovics will be Harmony's lead candidate in Riga, MP Valerijs Agensins in Kurzeme, MP Regina Locmele in Latgale, and MP Ivars Zarins in Vidzeme. Lawyer Aleksandrs Kazackovs, who has been a co-founder and board member of Republic party, will be Harmony's lead candidate in Zemgale, with MP Vitalijs Orlovs following as candidate number two.
