RIGA, May 24 (LETA) - The cost of road construction projects could increase by up to 15 percent, Transport Minister Talis Linkaits (Conservatives) said in an interview with TV3.

"Of course, price fluctuations do affect implementation of the projects to some extent, but for the time being they are rather virtual, we are talking with the builders about how to compensate for these price fluctuations. A model, or a methodology has been agreed upon for calculating the cost of bitumen, the cost of metal products, and other price increases," said Linkaits.
