RIGA, May 24 (LETA0 - A clear plan is necessary for Ukrainian refugees, said Vents Armands Krauklis (Vidzeme Party), the chairman of the Association of Regional Development Centers (RACA) and Valka municipal council chairman, during a discussion on support for Ukrainian war refugees in Latvian regions.

The Ukrainian refugees have gone through unimaginable horrors, and uncertainty about the future living conditions puts them in a huge stress in addition to worries about their homes and relatives who have stayed in Ukraine. A situation when refugees are told to move out of their current place of accommodation and deal with the situation on their own is unacceptable.

Saldus municipal council chairman Maris Zusts (Latvia's Green party) said that the government makes decisions on support to Ukrainian refugees with delays. People learn all the necessary information in due time so that they know what to do, said Zusts.
