Businesses for Peace has donated EUR 2.5 million to Ukraine so far

RIGA, May 19 (LETA) - The Businesses for Peace initiative has donated EUR 2.5 million to Ukraine so far, representatives of the initiative told LETA.

Taking into account the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, funds donated by Businesses for Peace have been used to purchase cars, drones, military uniforms and footwear, fire extinguishers, walkie-talkies, and more.

The Businesses for Peace donations have also been used to provide significant support for the operation of hospitals in Ukraine, including the purchase and delivery of ambulances, as well as humanitarian assistance to the civilian population.
