Brante, Lizbovskis and Bojars to also run in 14th Saeima elections from United List

RIGA, July 26 (LETA) - Riga City Council member Ieva Brante, journalist Lauris Lizbovskis and former Riga Mayor Gundars Bojars are among candidates running in the 14th Saeima elections from the United List political association, made up of Latvian Green Party, Latvian Association of Regions, and Liepaja Party.

Saeima member Didzis Smits will be the United List's top candidate for the 14th Saeima elections in Riga. The other candidates in Riga include Brante, Lizbovskis, former Latvian Land Forces commander, retired colonel Igors Rajevs, Latvian Nurses' Association vice-president Ilze Ortveina, New Rosme CEO Edgars Stelmahers, retired general Artis Velss, Automotive Association's president Andris Kulbergs, Viesturs Silenieks, chairman of the board of the Association of Latvian Cyclists, and Elita Ernestine Kazaine, head of Association of Regions' office.

Riga Vice-Mayor Edvards Smiltens is the United List's number one candidate in Vidzeme. The ticket for Riga also includes Adazi Region Council chairman Maris Sprindzuks, Kekava Region Council's deputy chairwoman Agnese Geduseva, Adazi High School principal Ceslavs Batna, businesswoman Aiva Viksna, Saeima member Raimonds Bergmanis, Latvian Society of Agronomists president Ringolds Arnitis...
