Baltic environment ministers meeting in Klaipeda to discuss topical issues

VILNIUS, May 3 (LETA--BNS) - The Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian environment ministers are meeting in Klaipeda on Tuesday to discuss climate change, international waste transportation, water management, and the development of wind and solar farms.

Lithuania will brief the Baltic Environment Council of Ministers on the state of play in the decarburization process and a reform of environmental taxes aimed at creating a "green corridor" by removing administrative and bureaucratic barriers to businesses, and Estonia and Latvia will present their activities in the field of climate change, the Lithuanian Environment Ministry has said in a press release.
