airBaltic receives its 36th Airbus A220-300

RIGA, May 28 (LETA) - On May 28, 2022, Latvian airline airBaltic welcomed its 36th Airbus A220-300 jet, registered as YL-ABJ, in Riga, LETA learn.

This is the fourth of eight planned Airbus A220-300 aircraft deliveries for airBaltic in 2022. This aircraft is a part of the 50 Airbus A220-300 which airBaltic has ordered. In addition, airBaltic holds 30 options and purchase rights for the same aircraft type.

Thus far, airBaltic has carried nearly 8,000,000 passengers on the Airbus A220-300 aircraft. Airbus A220-300's have completed more than 92,000 flights and flown over 200,000 block hours.
