Administrator of Trasta Komercbanka Recovers Eur 5,852 in February

RIGA, March 7 (LETA) - The administrator of the to-be-liquidated Trasta Komercbanka recovered EUR 5,852 of the bank's money in February 2019, which is several times less compared to what was recovered the previous month, according to the statement published in the Latvian official gazette Latvijas Vestnesis.

In February this year, EUR 5,852 were recovered from loans issued by the bank, EUR 36 were recovered by selling movables and other assets, and recovering assets and other revenues provided EUR 350.

The bank's administrator has thus recovered EUR 141.539 million since March 14, 2016, when a court ordered the bank's liquidation, including EUR 111.942 million in 2016, EUR 28.879 million in 2017, and EUR 2.973 million in 2018.

The costs of the bank's insolvency process were EUR 47,954 in February 2019. The costs of the insolvency process have thus reached EUR 20 million since March 14, 2016.

In late February 2019, Trasta Komercbanka held EUR 4.077 million worth of guaranteed deposits, unchanged from the previous month. Other deposits at the bank were worth EUR 55.044 million, and the debt securities issued by the bank were worth EUR 10.087 million.

The value of the bank's loan portfolio stood at EUR 7.681 million and the value the property for sale was EUR 2.975 million at the end of February.
