ABLV Bank recovers EUR 27.781 million worth of assets in April

RIGA, May 13 (LETA) - ABLV Bank, which is currently in the process of liquidation, recovered EUR 27.781 million of its assets in April, which is 2.1 times less than a month ago when the bank recovered EUR 59.824 million, according to information released by the bank.

Of the assets recovered in April, EUR 11.445 million from loans issued by the bank, EUR 8,000 from sale of movable and other properties and EUR 16.277 from other assets.

Since June 13, 2018 when the bank's self-liquidation was started ABLV Bank's liquidators have recovered EUR 1.236 billion, including EUR 355.493 million recovered in 2018, EUR 393.767 million in 2019 and EUR 109.797 in 2020, and EUR 287,058 million in 2021.

The bank's liquidation costs in April were EUR 4.736 million. Since the beginning of the wind-up process, liquidation costs have reached EUR 153.415 million.

s at April 30, 2022, creditors' claims to ABLV Bank amounted to EUR 1.4 billion, down 16 percent from December 31, 2021.

t the end of April, ABLV Bank's assets stood at EUR 1.616 billion. The bank's capital and reserves were worth EUR 188.115 million.
