59 foreigners have been denied entry to Latvia since start of war due to risks identified by State Security Service

RIGA, July 24 (LETA) - Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, a total of 59 foreigners have been denied entry to Latvia at border crossing points due to risks identified by the State Security Service (VDD) to the national security of Latvia, LETA found out from the VDD.

Entry to Latvia has been denied to 39 citizens of Russia, 14 citizens of Belarus, as well as six citizens of other countries who, in the assessment of the VDD, could pose a threat to Latvia's national security.
